31 Days of Pure Fun

Hey, Babes.

I have to tell you about something that made me feel so alive this summer. Every year, for my birthday month of July, I do something I like to call 31 DAYS OF RHEA IMANI - a new design, every single day. And this year...oh, it was pure magic.

Honestly, creating these pieces felt so freeing. There was no pressure, no “brand rules,” no limits - just me, my ideas, and the materials in front of me. Some days I went bold, some days soft and simple, some days downright unexpected. Every single time I put a piece out there, it felt like giving a little part of myself to the world.

Breaking the Rules (and Loving It)

The brand is growing - and as much as I love seeing it evolve - it’s easy to get caught up in strategy, in the “musts” and the “shoulds.” There are so many times I have a random idea, a spark, a feeling I want to put into fabric or color, and I don’t always get to follow it. So this July, giving myself permission to just create was very freeing. It reminded me why I started doing this in the first place. It reminded me that creativity is meant to be fun, messy, joyful, and sometimes a little reckless.

Some pieces were experiments, some were playful, some were pieces I’ll keep in my heart forever. But every single one was a reminder that letting yourself explore without limits is one of the most exhilarating things you can do.

Your Turn to Shine – You Make the Rules, Babe

So here’s my little nudge to you: whatever it is that lights you up, that makes you feel like you, make room for it. Don’t wait for the “perfect” time, don’t wait for approval, don’t wait for it to make sense. Just go for it. The freedom to create, to express, to be a little wild with your ideas - that’s where the magic lives.

Stay inspired, stay bold, and never stop putting your heart out there.

XO, Rhea
